Couples madly in love are so fun to photograph! Meet Jaime & Kirk. They are such an awesome sweet couple! They’re getting married this August here in Grand Rapids and celebrating at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and we can’t wait for the wedding! We shot their engagement session in Saugatuck. I love this little town… it’s so quaint with tons of art, cute shops, and restaurants located right along the shores of Lake Michigan. We strolled down the quiet streets together, stopped at a few fun locations and ended the session by the water- it was perfect!

Thank you guys for spending the evening with us! We just adore you guys and can’t wait for the BIG day!! xoxo

Ohhhhh so excited for wedding season! I can’t believe it’s April already! Winter hibernation is finally over… well, at least I hope it is! I will admit I did enjoy the down time… winter gives me a chance to catch up on work, spend quality time with the hubbs, see my family and friends and just plain relax! But now the beautiful lilacs and cherry blossoms are blooming, I can see the butterflies and the days are getting longer- Yay! Spring is here! Joe and I are so excited to start capturing special moments again! We have so many amazing weddings and events coming up this year and are so psyched to be working with so many wonderful couples!! We are seriously so fortunate to have such awesome clients….documenting couples who are madly in love makes us smile.

We’ll begin with an engagement session we shot last week. Kelly & Patrick live in Redondo Beach California but are getting married here in Michigan at one of our favorite venues, the Felt Mansion. We had so much fun with these two, not only are they gorgeous, they are perfectly fit for one another! We had a great time showing them our a cool little city and shooting around town. Thank you guys for hanging out with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did! Can’t wait for the wedding!!!

I love flowers!! I have a love affair with floral photography whether I took the picture or someone else did. I love the smell, the color, and the little bit of joy they always add to a room! I’m a detail girl so one of my favorite things about shooting weddings is being to able to photograph all the beautiful florals and details that go into the big day… next to the love and connection of the bride an groom of course. So, when Jenn from Modern Day Floral asked us to photograph a few table designs we were so psyched! We LOVE working with her, and LOVE her work! The entire Modern Day Floral design team is truly incredible!! We absolutely love what Rueben & Karen created and came up with! It’s so unique, bold, stylish and super creative… they blow me away everytime I see one of their creations! Besides their beautiful designs they are all wonderful people and there’s nothing quite as awesome as working with people who are totally talented, kind, and passionate about what they do. Happy Friday everyone!! Joe and I are super Excited to announce that we will be taking part in The Grand Affair -Free Bridal event at the Amway Grand Plaza and Hotel. This will be our first bridal show eva!! We are SUPER excited and consider it an honor to be participating in this amazing event and can’t wait to get the opportunity to showcase our work along side so many other amazing vendors. The event takes place on March 4th, 2012 from noon until 4pm. So, all you newly engaged couples stop on in, we would love to meet you!
